Object Oriented Software Engineering
Object-Oriented software engineering (OOSE) is an object modeling language & methodology.
OOSE was developed by Ivar Jacobson in 1992 while at Objectory AB. It is the first object-oriented design methodology to employ use cases to drive software design. It also uses other products similar to those used by OMT.
It include requirements, an analysis, a design, an implementation and a testing model.
In the fall of 1995, Ivar Jacobson and his Objectory company join rational and the unification effort, merging in the Object-Oriented Software Engineering (OOSE) method. Booch, Rumbaugh and Jacobson are motivated to create a unified modeling language for three reasons:
